Root Beer Boys – Origin Story
In April 2023, my teenage son and I embarked on a fun adventure reviewing root beers on YouTube together. With over 70 episodes, we’ve not only deepened our knowledge of root beer, but we’ve also created lasting memories through this shared experience. Our journey has taken us across the country, allowing us to discover unique flavors, including some local breweries. We’re excited to share these adventures with you!
Like any father and son, we don’t see eye to eye on everything, but there’s one thing we always agree on: enjoying a cold root beer together is time well spent. The simple moments remind us of what really matters. Sharing a laugh, making memories, and just being present with the people you love—those are the things that stick with you.

Our Passion
Our journey across the country is fueled by the thrill of the hunt for unique root beers. From renowned breweries to charming mom-and-pop operations, we’re dedicated to sampling them all. While our beloved local root beer shop closed its doors during COVID, we’ve continued our quest for new flavors.
